This demonstration shows the power of cc:Mail for the Macintosh. Now, cc:Mail accelerated with the performance of Power Macintosh, lets you read and send electronic mail up to twice as fast. Lotus is committed bringing the best in personal computer communications to the Power Macintosh.
To use the cc:Mail demo:
1. You must have at least 1.5 MB of free RAM. If you have less than 1.5 MB of RAM available, close some applications before running the demo.
2. Open the "ccMail CD demo folder", and double click the "ccMail Click Me" icon. DO NOT move the "cc:Mail Click Me" icon out of the demo folder, or the demo will not work properly. (There are "hidden files" within the cc:Mail demo folder, and the cc:Mail demo needs to access these files.) If you want to copy the demo to a hard disk or floppy, you will need to contact cc:Mail (see below). cc:Mail will send you a copy of this demo on a floppy disk that includes a full-feature version of the cc:Mail application for you to evaluate at your leisure.

cc:Mail® is the world's most popular electronic mail program, with over 3,000,000 users (as of Spring 1993). cc:Mail lets you communicate with other cc:Mail users regardless of their computing platform or location. Send text, sound, QuickTime, graphics, facsimile (FAX), or other files to cc:Mail users on Macintosh, DOS, Windows, OS/2, or UNIX computers.
cc:Mail has received rave reviews from the press. MacUser awarded cc:Mail a 1992 MacUser Editors' Choice Award. MacWEEK also awarded it's 1992 Editor's Choice award to cc:Mail. Here's what MacWEEK said about cc:Mail in their August 3, 1992, review of e-mail systems:
"cc:Mail from Lotus Development Corp. ties for the top spot in our
comparison based on the strength of Version 2.0's feature set
and the simplicity of it's cross-platform design." "Setting up
and maintaining a cross-platform system with this package is a
dream, and the feature set of the client is top-notch." "Lotus'
cc:Mail 2.0 is the winner if compatibility across platforms
and ease of setup are your chief criteria...." (MacWEEK Aug 3, 1992)
